Job description
Role Overview
As a Technician at Honeywell, based in Southend-On-Sea, you will be an integral part of maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) operations. Your focus will be on executing technical functions that support the production and distribution workflow, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Key Duties
- Carry out routine maintenance and conduct repairs on equipment following the Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) program to uphold peak equipment performance.
- Monitor and sustain Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) by tracking relevant parameters and metrics.
- Provide technical support by diagnosing and resolving issues that arise within supply chain processes.
- Work collaboratively with various teams to drive process enhancements, boosting operational productivity and preserving quality.
- Maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations, encourage safe workplace practices, and employ continuous improvement methodologies to elevate performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrable mechanical skills coupled with strong troubleshooting capabilities.
- Experience in a technical or maintenance capacity within manufacturing or supply chain sectors.
- Ability to independently analyze and solve problems effectively.
- Competence in using technical tools and equipment pertinent to maintenance activities.
- Strong communication aptitude and experience collaborating within team settings.
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement, supported by a technical certification or an applicable degree in a related area.
