Technician, Maintenance (Instrumentation)

Job Overview

This role involves performing maintenance, repair, and servicing of all electrical and instrumentation systems within plant equipment and buildings, specifically at multi-product and military depots in Al Ain region. The tasks must align with corporate, engineering, technical standards as well as safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance, repairs, and servicing on all electrical systems and Instrumentation & Control Systems in the designated facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections and scheduled maintenance to continuously monitor the condition of all instruments.
• Maintain and examine electronic instrumentation equipment, including cleaning, testing, fuse and lamp replacement on control panels, sensor and valve calibration, laboratory instrument repairs, PCB troubleshooting, and equipment recalibration.
• Diagnose faults and repair defects in electric, pneumatic, and microprocessor-based control and recording systems; tasks include changing PCBs, reprogramming systems, and electronic card repair.
• Provide servicing for all electric, pneumatic, and microprocessor-based control and recording systems as assigned by the Electrical Supervisor.
• Install and verify operation of advanced testing equipment ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a relevant vocational trade certificate.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in automobile maintenance, preferably within Fuel Retail or the Oil and Gas sector.
