Role Overview

This role involves detailed inspection and repair of composite aircraft components at our Singapore location. Working onsite, you will ensure that composite structures meet quality and safety standards through precise maintenance, adhering to technical guidelines and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of composite aircraft parts to detect damage, deterioration, and determine necessary repairs.
  • Execute repairs on composite materials using approved methods including sanding, cutting, bonding, and curing processes.
  • Use engineering blueprints, manuals, and maintenance protocols to perform accurate repairs.
  • Operate repair tools and machinery such as vacuum pumps, autoclaves, and curing ovens while maintaining their functionality.
  • Record all repair procedures, materials utilized, and work results according to regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines and Quality Systems throughout the repair process.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Educational background in Engineering at NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or Degree level in disciplines such as Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Aerospace-related fields.
  • Experience in aerospace Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) with a focus on composite materials is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English comprehension, reading, and writing to understand technical documents and communicate effectively.
  • Able to interpret technical and service manuals, blueprints, technical orders, sales specifications, and drawings accurately.
  • Basic computer skills with familiarity in SAP preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication capabilities.
