Job description
Job Summary
The Technical Storekeeper is charged with managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of spare parts and technical materials at one or more global locations operated by the company. This role ensures accurate inventory control, proper storage, and availability of materials to support technical teams efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain detailed inventory records, regularly verify stock counts, and issue weekly inventory reports for technical spares.
- Update system records upon receipt of new items, perform audits of incoming shipments for correctness, and verify deliveries against invoices.
- Monitor stock to prevent shortages or surpluses and track spare parts usage to assist maintenance planning and budgeting.
- Coordinate procurement by placing part orders for approval, facilitating purchasing tasks, liaising with vendors and staff, and reviewing supplier quotations.
- Organize stores effectively, assist in unloading and sorting materials, ensure proper labeling and storage, and maintain storeroom cleanliness following safety protocols.
- Generate reports related to inventory usage and discrepancies, report damaged goods, and support audits and inspections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide necessary parts and contribute to smooth operational workflows.

- Adherence to company appearance standards, confidentiality in handling sensitive documents, and a team-oriented work approach.
- Strong organizational abilities, time management, multitasking capability, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Physically fit for outdoor work, capable of prolonged standing, and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work shifts if required and demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.

Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; further education in hospitality or a related area is advantageous.
- Possession of a current health certificate.
- At least two years of relevant technical experience.
- Competent in report writing and documentation, numeracy, and analysis.
- Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of swimming, beach, and pool hazards; lifeguard training; first aid and CPR.
- Ability to participate fully in emergency lifesaving drills, demonstrating full mobility and sensory capabilities.
