About Mechatronics International
Mechatronics International is an Indian automation company focused on building intelligent systems for warehouse operations and industrial automation. The company develops solutions for global customers and works across products such as high-speed sortation, dynamic dimensioning/weighing/scanning, warehouse control software, conveyor automation, and upcoming ASRS and robotics platforms.
Role Summary
This position is for a Software Technical Lead who will take end-to-end ownership of the software architecture behind industrial automation products. The role goes beyond conventional web development and involves creating software that monitors and controls real machines used in warehouse environments in India and overseas. You will design systems that connect PLCs, scanners, cameras, weighing devices, databases, cloud platforms, and customer ERP/WMS systems.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for designing scalable architecture, creating reusable components, establishing coding practices, reviewing code, and guiding technical choices. The role also includes backend and frontend development, database design and tuning, industrial hardware integration, deployment and release workflows, and leading development for products such as profiler software, sorter software, warehouse control software, and future robotics platforms.
Technology Stack
The work involves Node.js, Express or Fastify, REST APIs, WebSockets, authentication systems, background services, API integrations, React.js, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, SVG-based machine visualization, PostgreSQL, Redis, and optionally MongoDB. You will also work with industrial communication and deployment tools such as Siemens PLC connectivity, OPC-UA, Modbus TCP, MQTT, barcode scanners, cameras, weighing systems, RFID, Linux, Docker, Git, CI/CD, remote updates, and version control.
