About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Technical Product Manager to spearhead the development of our upcoming card products, including integration with Google Pay and Apple Pay, as well as virtual and one-time use virtual cards. This position requires deep expertise in card issuing, processing, tokenization, and an understanding of the interaction among issuers, acquirers, card lifecycle management, e-commerce payments, and 3-D Secure systems.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design new features to advance card services, driving product expansion and operational efficiency.
- Create comprehensive and well-organized documentation tailored for development teams.
- Architect and enhance APIs and system integrations from the ground up.
- Develop new service offerings and improve existing ones to meet business needs.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors for seamless integration efforts.
- Own the entire lifecycle of tasks from business request to production deployment.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to discuss and optimize processes.
- Assign work items to developers and quality assurance personnel using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Drive the release process and coordinate deployments.
- Continuously monitor service performance post-release and manage incidents in live environments.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a System Analyst or Technical Product Manager, preferably in fintech or banking sectors.
- Proven background working with payment services or related systems.
- Strong understanding of the interactions between acquirers, issuers, and payment networks.
- Expertise in microservice architecture and overall system design principles.
- Hands-on experience designing APIs and building integrations from scratch.
- Advanced skills in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience investigating and resolving production incidents effectively.
- Proactive approach with the ability to propose and execute process enhancements.
