Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified coach to design and implement a Tchoukball training programme tailored to student development. The coach will collaborate closely with the Teacher-in-Charge to nurture enthusiasm for Tchoukball and instill positive values among students. Responsibilities include preparing training outlines, coaching students for recreational and competitive events, such as intra-CCA matches and the National School Games (NSG), and fostering qualities like teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Create a developmentally suitable Tchoukball training curriculum.
- Submit the training programme outline for assessment.
- Partner with the Teacher-in-Charge to inspire student passion for the sport and promote positive character traits.
- Coach students for both recreational and competitive participation including intra-CCA matches and NSG.
- Encourage teamwork, discipline, good sportsmanship, and holistic student growth.
Requirements
- Must hold current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications; overseas certificates require validation by the National Resuscitation and First Aid Council.
- Possession of SG-Coach Level 1 certification (Theory and/or Technical) or a comparable/higher accreditation is preferred.
- Registration with the National Registry of Coaches (NROC) for Tchoukball is advantageous.
- Relevant coaching experience in schools or youth sports settings is considered beneficial.
