Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be essential in supporting daily recruitment operations from job openings to onboarding new hires. The role involves collaboration across departments and participation in special projects, always ensuring excellent service to internal and external stakeholders promoting a positive impression of Summit.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition team to efficiently manage daily recruitment administrative tasks from job posting through onboarding.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems extensively to handle candidate communications, requisitions, templates, and tracking.
- Arrange interview schedules coordinating candidates and internal teams while accommodating organizational priorities and individual availability.
- Coordinate travel plans and manage communication with partners, ensuring expenses are promptly submitted and informed.
- Identify and implement process enhancements to improve experiences for candidates and hiring managers.
- Initiate and monitor pre-employment activities such as background checks, drug screens, and credential verification, keeping recruiters informed.
- Maintain timely, open communication among candidates, hiring managers, recruiters, and other stakeholders.
- Support various Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal/external standards including HR policies, training requirements, and relevant legal regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree plus at least two years of relevant experience or an equivalent mix of education, training, and experience.
- Proven ability to support multiple individuals effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, Microsoft Outlook, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
- Background in Human Resources or recruitment coordination preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking skills with effective prioritization.
Compensation
The hourly wage ranges from $30 to $40, with actual pay depending on skills, experience, certifications, and specific work location. Compensation packages may include bonuses, stock options, benefits, or other variable pay.
