Role Overview
Seeking a Logistics & Supply Chain Management Specialist for a contract position offering remote flexibility with a commitment of 10 to 40 hours per week. Compensation ranges between $40 and $50 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Scrutinize logistics documentation to ensure authenticity, correctness, and compliance with industry standards.
- Create and annotate sample documents to showcase exemplary practices in logistics and supply chain processes.
- Assess current supply chain workflows and recommend practical enhancements based on hands-on experience.
- Provide comprehensive feedback on logistics scenarios, focusing on document integrity and procedural improvements.
- Work closely with project teams to elucidate requirements and convey complex logistics concepts effectively.
- Engage in quality assurance activities by verifying the accuracy and pertinence of supply chain datasets.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Established experience in logistics and supply chain management, especially with packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory records.
- Deep understanding of global supply chain operations, logistics workflows, and documentation standards.
- Excellent proficiency in English communication, capable of explaining complex technical details clearly.
- High attention to detail when reviewing and preparing supply chain-related documents.
- Strong analytical skills adept at identifying areas for improvement within logistics processes.
- A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related disciplines is advantageous.
