Role overview
This field-based position focuses on delivering Red Bull’s Perfect Store standards across retail and impulse outlets within a defined territory around Gqeberha and nearby areas. The role is centred on securing product availability, strong shelf visibility, effective communication, and additional placements that support stronger sales performance across the Red Bull range.
Territory coverage
You will be responsible for consistently servicing the assigned outlets at the right frequency in a cost-effective way, while managing the area professionally and ensuring all allocated calls are completed. The role also requires respectful, collaborative engagement with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
Perfect Store execution
A key part of the job is maintaining and developing Perfect Store data and execution standards, with attention to stock availability, distribution, pricing, visibility, product placement, and messaging. You will be expected to build strong working relationships and influence decision-makers by presenting clear commercial insights and practical proposals.
Stock management
The position requires close monitoring of orders so that Red Bull SKUs remain available and displayed in-store at all times. You must also help maintain the stock levels needed to ensure uninterrupted consumer access to Red Bull products across the outlets you cover.
POS management
You will safeguard Red Bull’s in-store brand presence and, wherever possible, improve it. This includes making sure point-of-sale material is positioned correctly and kept current in every outlet, as well as ensuring promotional activity is implemented from day one and runs as agreed.
Administration and reporting
Accurate and timely completion of administrative work is essential. You will also be expected to implement Head Office agreements and see them through according to merchandising standards.
Requirements
- A demonstrated history of achieving sales results
- Background in FMCG, branded retail, or a similar sales environment
- A valid driver’s licence
- Strong relationship-building ability
- Sound selling capability, including communication, negotiation, and handling objections
- Good understanding of off-premise channels such as retail, impulse, and non-traditional outlets
- Commercial judgement and a basic grasp of commercial mathematics
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with mobile field-force tools preferred
