Role Overview
We are recruiting a dependable Storeperson with a valid LF Forklift License to join our Defence Theatre Logistics (DTL) team, supporting Australian Defence supplies at RAAF Pearce in Bullsbrook, Western Australia. This role is critical to warehouse operations including inventory control, freight handling, and the safe management of Defence equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately track and report stock.
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to receive, store, pick, pack, and dispatch Defence-related supplies.
- Ensure compliance with Defence regulations, Toll Government & Defence contract standards, and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment conforming to operational standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet operational objectives efficiently.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in warehousing, logistics, or related sectors is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must hold or be willing to obtain a forklift license and have a valid Australian driver's license (C class).
- Current NV 1 Security Clearance is required.
- Physical capability to perform manual handling and work outdoors delivering stores to Defence personnel.
- Demonstrated teamwork, communication skills, attention to detail, time management, and a strong safety focus.
Eligibility Criteria
- Australian citizenship is mandatory.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Defence Security Clearance (Baseline or above).
- Preparedness to undergo pre-employment screening including criminal history and medical checks.
