Storekeeper

About the Role

Cast Aluminium Industries is seeking an experienced Storekeeper specialized in managing materials related to aluminium and metal manufacturing. The candidate should be adept with fabrication materials including aluminium profiles, sheets, steel, and various accessories integral to this sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments, accurately documenting deliveries.
• Distribute materials to production and site personnel following authorized requisitions.
• Maintain precise inventory records, utilizing systems such as Tally.
• Track inventory levels continuously and notify management concerning shortages or need for reorders.
• Ensure all materials are stored securely and handled properly to prevent damage.
• Perform routine stocktaking and inventory audits to verify accuracy.
• Liaise with procurement teams and suppliers for smooth delivery and documentation processes.
• Keep warehouse areas and records systematically organized and current.

Candidate Requirements

• Between 2 to 4 years experience as a Storekeeper within aluminium, metal, or fabrication industries.
• Thorough understanding of aluminium profiles, accessories, and related fabrication materials.
• Proven warehouse and inventory management experience.
• Familiarity with basic computer applications including Excel; knowledge of ERP or Tally systems is preferred.
• Strong organizational aptitude with excellent record-keeping and attention to detail.
• High sense of duty and accountability in handling warehouse responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work experience in aluminium fabrication, façade, or steel manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of construction materials and related system handling is advantageous.
