Role overview
This full-time store person position in Emerald, Queensland focuses on accurate picking, packing, receipting, and dispatching of stock in a warehouse environment. The role suits someone who takes pride in keeping the workspace safe, organised, and efficient while helping the team meet daily service expectations.
What you'll do
- Pick, pack, and send out orders accurately and efficiently.
- Work to timeframes and daily deadlines.
- Support customer service activities when required.
- Step in to assist colleagues across the store and warehouse as needed.
- Keep the storeroom tidy, organised, and safe.
- Help maintain a strong safety culture by following safe work practices at all times.
Role requirements
This position involves physical activity, including lifting, bending, climbing, and operating machinery or driving safely where required. The employer is looking for someone with previous warehouse exposure, especially in receiving and dispatch functions, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to working safely and building good team relationships. A current driver’s licence is needed, and a forklift licence is considered an advantage. The role also calls for good communication, organisation, a willingness to learn, and the ability to handle items up to 20 kg.
