Position Overview

The Store Clerk position is a full-time, on-site role located at Alserkal Avenue, Dubai. This role supports everyday retail functions by engaging with customers, addressing their product inquiries, and assisting during product tastings.

Key Duties

• Complete sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain up-to-date records within POS systems.
• Replenish stock on shelves to ensure availability.
• Keep store displays clean and well-organized.
• Conduct daily inventory counts and update records accordingly.
• Organize and manage backroom inventory.
• Assist with preparation, packaging, and logistics of online orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Support in-store product tastings and perform fundamental product demonstrations.
• Educate customers informally about various chili products to enrich their shopping experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Effective communication and customer service skills to interact well with a diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in retail sales operations and organizational abilities for managing transactions and stock.
• Capability to train new team members and maintain store orderliness.
• Basic numeracy and cash management skills with experience using POS systems and inventory tools.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and safely handle stock movement.
• Dependability, customer-oriented mindset, and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Experience in retail, grocery, specialty food, or hospitality is advantageous; an interest or knowledge in chili products is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; proficiency in English is required. Additional languages commonly used in the UAE are beneficial.
