Job Overview and Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, and equipment meticulously.
- Operate dishwashing machines efficiently while handling cleaning tools properly.
- Maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of kitchen areas, stewarding zones, and storage rooms.
- Handle waste disposal and segregate garbage according to hygiene guidelines.
- Assist in organizing and storing cleaned items appropriately.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards consistently.
- Provide support to the kitchen staff by performing basic cleaning and operational duties as needed.
- Promptly notify supervisors about any equipment faults or maintenance needs.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a stewarding or dishwasher role is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Fundamental knowledge of hygiene and sanitation practices.
- Capability to perform in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting.
- Cooperative team player with a positive mindset and accountability.
