About Niagara College KSA

Headquartered in Riyadh, it delivers specialized programs in Business, Event Management, Occupational Health & Safety, IT, and Graphic Design, along with foundational courses in English language development, aiming to equip students with practical skills for workforce readiness.
Position Overview
The IT Specialist will be based at the NC KSA Corporate Office in Riyadh, reporting to the Senior Manager of Quality and Systems. This role entails managing and supporting IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 services, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and business systems throughout the corporate office and related campuses. Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors is essential to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient IT services. Responsibilities also include supporting SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform solutions, enhancing business processes, promoting cybersecurity awareness, staff training, and adherence to organizational IT policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, including managing user accounts, licenses, permissions, and security settings.
- Support cybersecurity efforts by implementing security measures, monitoring security alerts, investigating security incidents, optimizing system settings, and encouraging best practices in information security.
- Design and deliver cybersecurity awareness initiatives including phishing campaigns and security training for new staff.
- Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, Microsoft Forms, Power Automate workflows, and Power Apps to streamline business processes and boost operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365, SharePoint, hardware, software, and network components; provide technical support to staff and campus locations.
- Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation leveraging Microsoft cloud technologies.
- Assist with IT risk assessments, cybersecurity compliance, software licensing management, data protection, and disaster recovery planning.
- Maintain up-to-date IT procedures, technical documents, knowledge base articles, and system records.
- Liaise with vendors for service evaluation, quotation assessment, service delivery monitoring, and compliance with service agreements.
- Generate reports on IT operations, cybersecurity initiatives, projects, and system enhancements.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and support for IT equipment installation and maintenance across campuses.
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders and travel to campuses or projects as required to uphold service and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- At least four years of experience in IT support, systems administration, Microsoft 365 administration, preferably within higher education settings.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, with strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Office, Microsoft 365, and enterprise IT environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical thinking, organisation, problem-solving aptitude, and customer service skills.
- Practical experience with Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft Forms.
- Experience in developing SharePoint solutions, workflows, forms, and automating business processes.
- Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, identity and access management, Microsoft security tools, endpoint protection, phishing prevention, and security best practices.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks, handle project support, coordinate with vendors, and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Familiarity with IT governance, compliance, documentation, software licensing, and project management is advantageous.
- Certifications or professional training in Microsoft 365, Azure, Cybersecurity, Information Security, SharePoint, or Microsoft Power Platform are beneficial.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in GCC/MENA regions and demonstrated expertise in supporting Microsoft cloud solutions, enterprise systems, and cybersecurity programs.
