Spa Assistant

About the Role

Sheen Falls Lodge is looking for a part-time Spa Assistant who will also perform receptionist responsibilities at the Easanna Wellness & Spa. The role involves greeting and assisting guests or members, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in spa areas including sauna, steam room, pool, and jacuzzi, as well as supporting reception and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests and members to the Health Spa, ensuring all areas are kept clean and hygienic.
• Monitor and maintain hygiene and safety standards in sauna, steam room, pool, jacuzzi, and other spa areas.
• Carry out reception and administrative duties as necessary.
• Perform pool testing and basic maintenance such as chlorine addition and backwashing.
• Efficiently manage email and phone communications, with familiarity in the reservations system.
• Ensure a consistent supply of towels and robes throughout the spa.

Candidate Profile

• Knowledge of the local area is beneficial.
• Experience in a comparable position within a busy five-star hotel, health club, or office environment is preferred.
• Exceptional guest service skills are essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) with full legal right to work in Ireland.

Additional Information

This is a year-round role on a roster basis including evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will be part of the leisure club and spa team, responsible for pool and plant hygiene, reception duties, health, safety, and cleaning standards at Club Sheen.
