The Team
The Solution Strategy function is an important part of Pricefx’s global revenue organization. The team brings deep pricing expertise and applies it as subject matter experts to customer-focused software solutions. They work closely with prospective customers to identify value, shape the future-state vision, and support ROI analysis and value articulation.
This group partners with the sales Account Executive throughout the entire cycle, from discovery and benefit mapping to solution design and value communication. The work blends pricing knowledge, solution consulting, business advisory, and technology in a fast-moving environment. The team also values collaboration and a positive, enjoyable workplace culture.
Your Mission
This role is well suited to someone with strong pricing knowledge, confidence with senior executives, strong presentation ability, business understanding, demo and configuration capability, and comfort working in a fast-paced setting.
Success in the role is tied to commercial growth, supported by subject matter expertise in pricing and the application of Pricefx software. The position offers challenging work and the chance to shape compelling solution visions for prospective customers. The company is also looking for someone who can contribute fresh ideas and practical expertise to strengthen the team.
Responsibilities
- Act as a presales advisor to uncover business and pricing pain points and position a leading cloud SaaS pricing platform.
- Work with prospects and customers across different industries and company sizes to build a persuasive solution narrative.
- Support the sales process by responding to RFPs and RFIs, delivering product demonstrations, and creating business value cases with clients.
- Clearly show how the offering stands apart from competitors and fits customer needs.
- Contribute as a thought leader to marketing efforts through blogs, social media content, product and industry materials, and potentially speaking opportunities.
- Communicate value in a way that helps prospects and customers understand and achieve ROI quickly.
Requirements
- Background as a presales consultant, pricing consultant, strategy consultant, or another role centered on pricing strategy and execution.
- Direct experience implementing, developing, or selling B2B or B2C pricing software or pricing strategy.
- Proven ability to deliver strong software demonstrations or work in consulting, sales support, or a similar customer-facing role in a B2B/B2C environment.
- Hands-on pricing expertise across multiple industries such as industrial manufacturing, distribution, high tech, aftermarket parts, food and beverage, process chemicals, or retail/eCommerce.
- Strong presentation skills and executive-level presence, including the ability to discuss topics at a P&L level with senior leaders.
- A start-up mindset and comfort with a role that is both exciting and demanding.
- Excellent written and spoken English; German language skills are an advantage.
- Ability to present to large audiences, run webinars, and write engaging blog content.
- Self-driven and able to manage incoming tasks and deadlines independently.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% within the country, with occasional international travel.
Skills and capabilities
The role calls for pricing strategy expertise, analytical thinking, executive communication, solution consulting, demo delivery, and the ability to translate technical capability into business value. Data-driven working style and familiarity with coding are helpful but not mandatory.
Location and work setup
This is a remote opportunity based in Germany. The position is full-time.

Compensation
The base pay for this position is EUR 115,000 to 140,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, and location. The role also qualifies for variable pay targeted at 35% of base salary, with the actual payout governed by the relevant variable pay policy.
