Social / Video Content Creator

About the Role

Pacis Insurance Company Ltd is looking for a creative and motivated Social / Video Content Creator based in Australia to work remotely. This role involves producing compelling and high-quality content for social media and digital platforms, including short and long-form videos, photography, and digital visuals that boost brand recognition, increase audience interaction, and advance marketing goals. The position involves collaboration with marketing, creative, and communications divisions to tailor content that appeals to diverse Australian audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, develop, edit, and publish captivating video and social media materials across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and X.
• Create a variety of video content including reels, stories, promotional clips, behind-the-scenes footage, both short and long format.
• Generate creative ideas including storyboards, scripts, and content plans aligned with marketing initiatives.
• Capture and professionally edit videos and photos using advanced equipment and software.
• Design engaging graphics, thumbnails, captions, and other social media assets.
• Stay updated on social media trends, platform changes, and audience insights to improve content outcomes.
• Work closely with marketing, design, and communications teams to maintain consistent branding.
• Handle scheduling and publishing of content on multiple digital channels.
• Use analytics tools to evaluate content performance and suggest enhancements based on metrics.
• Ensure all produced content adheres to brand rules, copyright standards, and accessibility guidelines.
• Organize and maintain a digital archive of video footage, images, and creative resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Digital Media, Film, Multimedia or a related discipline is preferred.
• A minimum of two years’ experience producing social media and video content for companies or brands.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud programs such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator, or similar editing tools.
• Experience with creative software like Canva, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
• Thorough understanding of social media platforms, content strategy, and digital marketing practices.
• Strong skills in video editing, storytelling, copywriting, and visual communication.
• Basic know-how in photography, lighting, and audio production.
• Ability to interpret social media analytics and generate performance reports.
• Excellent organizational capabilities to manage various projects and deadlines.
• Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-moving creative environment.
