Job Overview
Join a well-established property development and construction company based in Sandyford, Dublin, as a Site Technician. This hands-on role involves close collaboration with senior engineers, the development team, and site management to ensure the smooth operation of construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Procore software system by managing user invitations, permissions, handling Requests for Information (RFIs), material and design submissions, and coordinating designer and subcontractor documentation.
- Organize and manage BCAR inspections and conduct benchmark and first-of-kind inspections.
- Support the onboarding process for new suppliers and subcontractors, familiarizing them with company protocols and systems.
- Handle procurement-related RFIs, submittals, and subcontractor onboarding procedures.
- Order materials for the site office and monitor Purchase Orders through the Yooz platform.
- Assist in implementing OpenSpace Reality Capture technology to document and track construction progress.
- Maintain precise and thorough documentation and records on-site, including printing drawings and relevant documents as necessary.
- Record and disseminate minutes during meetings, and provide general administrative and operational assistance to the site management team.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Site Team to support site operations.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a site-based environment.
- Prior involvement in the Irish construction sector is strongly preferred.
- A degree or relevant third-level educational qualification is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Possession of a current Safe Pass certificate is desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using the Procore construction management platform is an advantage.
- English language competency at minimum B2 level.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- High attention to detail with the capability to juggle multiple tasks in a dynamic setting.
- Adeptness at collaborating efficiently with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and various stakeholders.
- Note: This position requires full-time on-site presence in Sandyford, Dublin, with no option for remote work.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary ranges from €35,000 to €40,000 annually, dependent on experience.
- Permanent full-time employment.
