Role overview
Applegreen is hiring a Site Standards Operative Cleaner for its Birdhill location at M7 Junction 27. This position plays an important part in day-to-day site operations and helps maintain a welcoming, well-kept environment for customers and colleagues.

Working pattern and requirements
This role requires availability across midweek days and weekends. Because the site is located on a motorway, you must also have your own transport.
Key duties
- Carry out cleaning and upkeep tasks both inside and outside the site.
- Keep seating areas clean, tidy, and ready for customers.
- Ensure storerooms remain hygienic, organised, and orderly, and clean mops and other cleaning tools each day.
- Maintain the forecourt to a consistently high standard.
- Tell the relevant manager as soon as cleaning supplies are running low and need to be restocked.
- Place wet floor warning signs whenever needed.
- Follow all training provided, including manual handling, HACCP, and company operating procedures.
Skills and qualities
