This position is for a Shift Operator at an RO plant in Abu Dhabi, supporting freshwater and natural gas-related operations. The role focuses on keeping plant systems, equipment, and processes running safely, efficiently, and within defined operating limits.

Key Duties
- Oversee plant equipment and process performance to ensure operations remain within approved parameters.
- Coordinate utility plant activities during the shift to match the operational needs of the main production facility.
- Capture equipment readings and daily operating conditions, analyze routine data, and maintain accurate entries in the required logs.
- Perform scheduled inspections, minor adjustments, checks, and cleaning to reduce the likelihood of unplanned stoppages.
- Apply permit-to-work procedures and confirm all required safety precautions before releasing any equipment, vessel, or pump for maintenance.
- Keep the plant and operational workspace orderly, clean, and safe at all times.
- Comply with all operating, safety, environmental, and quality requirements to maintain high standards of plant performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in plant operations or a similar technical environment.
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a B.Sc. in Chemistry.
- Excellent English proficiency.
- Ability to monitor processes, maintain logs, and follow strict operating procedures.
- Working knowledge of safety controls, permit procedures, and quality/environmental compliance.
