Role Overview

The Senior Vice President – Technology at AF Fluvial Conseil takes charge of formulating and implementing the company's technology vision and strategy in alignment with overarching business goals. This part-time, hybrid position is based in Dubai, combining both physical office presence and remote working flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities involve supervising IT projects and infrastructure, steering digital transformation efforts, and ensuring technology investments fuel sustainable growth. The role requires close collaboration with senior leadership for strategic planning, overseeing cross-department technology initiatives, and establishing governance practices related to cybersecurity, data handling, and system dependability. Additional duties include mentoring technology teams, assessing novel technologies, and fostering partnerships with vendors and other external partners.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Exceptional analytical abilities to evaluate complex tech challenges, interpret data effectively, and support decisions grounded in evidence.
• Extensive knowledge of Information Technology encompassing system architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
• Proven expertise in IT strategy formulation and strategic planning to synchronize technology roadmaps with company objectives and growth plans.
• Strong project management skills to lead initiatives involving multiple stakeholders while managing schedules, budgets, and risks.
• Considerable senior leadership experience in technology roles, ideally in consulting or professional services sectors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills enabling clear explanation of intricate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Successful history of driving digital innovation and transformation through adoption of cloud solutions, data analytics, automation, and related technologies.
• Relevant academic credentials such as a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar discipline; further advanced or executive education is advantageous.
• Capacity to perform effectively in a hybrid working model within Dubai, demonstrating adaptability, teamwork, and self-direction.
