Role Overview
This position requires evaluating existing SAP PI/PO interfaces, categorizing their complexity, and designing migration strategies to equivalent SAP Integration Suite services on the Business Technology Platform (BTP). The role involves executing interface migration, conducting parallel run testing, monitoring error handling, and phasing out legacy systems while ensuring uninterrupted business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current PI/PO interfaces and develop detailed migration blueprints aligned to SAP Integration Suite services.
- Successfully carry out interface migration and participate in parallel run validations to assure smooth transition.
- Oversee error monitoring and manage the decommissioning process of outdated systems without disrupting business continuity.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements, build technical components within BTP Integration Suite, and offer troubleshooting and support during testing and go-live phases.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of assigned deliverables.
- Provide timely status updates to team leads and management.
Candidate Profile and Skills
- Possess 8 to 10 years of experience as an application developer focusing on SAP BTP Integration Suite (IS), including CPI, API Management (APIM), Event Mesh Integration Services (EMIS), and Advanced Event Mesh (AEM) technologies.
- Hands-on experience migrating and implementing SAP PI/PO interfaces to SAP BTP IS environments.
- Proficient in SAP PI/PO, Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) iFlow design, API Management (including API portal and Business Hub), and event-driven integrations using EMIS and AEM messaging queues and topics.
- Competent in scripting languages such as Groovy and Java for customization within CPI.
