Role Summary
The Senior Product Manager will oversee the execution and advancement of Deel's Equity product, a key and rapidly growing segment within the Core Data organization. This role interfaces fintech, payroll, HR, and compliance domains to deliver a premium global equity experience by coordinating with senior stakeholders and interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the Equity product, including both data and service components.
- Lead the implementation of a product roadmap emphasizing AI integration, automation, scalability, and global regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams across EMEA and APAC to rapidly deliver impactful features.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts with compliance, payroll, and compensation teams to ensure product cohesion.
- Define processes for importing and structuring equity data from external platforms like Carta, Shareworks, and Fidelity.
- Enhance workflows relating to major equity events, including vesting, reporting, and compliance management.
- Identify opportunities to minimize manual workload and operational costs through product solutions.
- Support product expansion into additional geographic markets and worker classifications.
- Integrate the equity product within Deel's broader compensation and rewards ecosystem.
- Communicate progress and priorities effectively to product and business stakeholders.
- Operate in a dynamic, results-driven environment with a focus on speed and ownership.
Success Criteria within 12 Months
- Execution of a clear roadmap focused on AI, automation, and product growth.
- Significant reduction of manual processes via scalable product improvements.
- Increased adoption of the equity product across new user segments and locations.
- Robust collaboration with compliance, payroll, and compensation teams.
- Growth in product usage and contribution to revenue from the Equity service.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Product Management.
- Proven ability to deliver rapidly in fast-paced environments.
- Experience in fintech, payroll, compliance, or similar regulated industries is highly preferred.
- Strong grasp of financial principles or ability to quickly learn equity and compensation structures.
- Demonstrated success working with engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable managing products end-to-end amid ambiguity.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex issues.
- Experience collaborating with distributed teams globally.
- Candidates must be based in the EMEA region.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with equity management, stock administration tools, or cap table systems.
- Experience in environments with significant payroll or compliance requirements.
- Background in building integrations with external financial or HR systems.
