Role Purpose

The Senior Pipe Loadout Officer will be part of the COMP3 project within the Logistics Department, reporting directly to the Lead or Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to plan, coordinate, and oversee the safe, timely, and efficient loading of pipes and related materials from fabrication facilities to transportation vessels or storage sites while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Duties

• Lead and manage rigging and lifting operations during pipe loadout.
• Collaborate effectively with logistics, quality assurance/quality control, and marine teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Validate loadout documentation and ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
• Allocate and supervise workforce and equipment resources.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges arising during loadout activities.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a closely related field.
• Experience: Between 5 and 10+ years in Oil and Gas sector or EPC project environments.
• Language: Proficiency in English.
• Technical Knowledge: Extensive experience with pipe handling and lifting operations; thorough understanding of pipe coating standards, color codes, stowage and loading plans, and sequencing; familiarity with barge leveling, ballast management, and handling CRA pipes.
• Certifications: Relevant HSE qualifications and crane/heavy-lift safety awareness credentials.
• Information Technology: Skilled in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Skills and Competencies

• Expertise in pipe handling techniques including stacking and loadout methods.
• Strong grasp of lifting plans, rigging methods, and load calculation processes.
• Demonstrated leadership in health, safety, and environmental management with risk assessment capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate interdisciplinary teams including marine, logistics, and QA/QC departments.
• Effective problem-solving abilities in complex loading operations and yard management.
