Role Overview
Within the sales team, the Senior Merchandiser’s main objective is to optimize PepsiCo product visibility and availability on shelves across assigned retail outlets. This role also involves executing in-store sampling and promotional campaigns as needed.
The merchandiser is responsible for accurately following planograms for both on and off-shelf displays and must promptly inform pre-sellers if any deviations from agreed arrangements occur. Additionally, the merchandiser provides up-to-date market insights to support sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit designated outlets as outlined in the daily journey plan set by the supervisor.
- Merchandise PepsiCo products at various access points within the outlets, including shelves, stands, and floor displays.
- Position point-of-sale (POS) materials adjacent to PepsiCo displays wherever relevant.
- Ensure compliance with approved planograms at all access points.
- Utilize FIFO stock rotation and promptly remove any expired or sub-standard products.
- Maintain consistently fresh and clean stock on shelves.
- Monitor competitor activities and report any findings.
- Report deviations from agreed terms with assigned outlets to the pre-seller immediately.
- Submit daily reports detailing prior day’s activities to the supervisor.
- Participate in sampling and promotional campaigns when required.
- Adhere to appropriate personal appearance standards and uphold professional behavior in accordance with Frito Lay’s code of conduct.

Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a valid driving license
- Strong service orientation towards customers
