This is a senior analytics role offered through a hiring partner on behalf of the employer. Based in Canada, the position sits within a global, fully remote environment and is designed for someone who can act as a trusted analytical advisor to marketing leadership. The focus is on turning complex marketing information into practical recommendations that improve business performance.
You will work across SEM, SEO, and newer AI-enabled acquisition channels, using data to uncover what is driving results and where improvements can be made. The role combines advanced analysis, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration, with direct influence on how marketing success is measured and optimized.
What you will do
In this position, you will be expected to handle large datasets, create insight-driven reporting, and build frameworks that connect marketing activity to revenue outcomes. You will also support experimentation, forecasting, and measurement design while helping teams make better decisions based on evidence rather than assumptions.
Responsibilities
- Examine large, complex marketing datasets to spot trends, underlying causes, and the main factors affecting performance across SEM, SEO, and AI-led acquisition channels.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visual analytics tools, including Tableau-based outputs, to help marketing leaders make informed decisions.
- Develop forecasting approaches, conduct statistical analysis, and run experiments to assess marketing effectiveness and improve budget allocation.
- Set and harmonize marketing metrics so they reflect business goals and keep cross-functional teams aligned.
- Turn analytical findings into clear recommendations that strengthen conversion, efficiency, and revenue generation.
- Trace the full marketing funnel and associated data movement from acquisition through revenue to improve visibility and identify optimization opportunities.
- Use generative AI tools to streamline analytics workflows, automate reporting tasks, and evaluate performance in AI-driven search channels.
- Work closely with marketing, data, and business partners to prioritize initiatives and support strategic decisions.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, or Economics.
- At least 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or marketing analytics.
- A minimum of 2 years working in consulting or analytical operations settings.
- Strong knowledge of SEM, SEO, and AI-driven or generative search marketing channels.
- Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Exposure to R, Python, or similar analytical programming tools is an advantage.
- Solid grasp of statistics, experimentation, forecasting, and predictive modeling.
- Practical experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini for analytics or automation.
- Ability to tie data insights to business strategy, financial results, and operational performance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings in a simple, action-oriented way.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities and the flexibility to handle competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
