Role Overview

We are searching for a seasoned Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team at the Dublin headquarters. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this senior leadership role is instrumental in overseeing the Dublin Finance team and supporting the company’s growth and strategic planning efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and manage the Dublin Finance team to ensure high-quality performance and foster professional growth.
• Collaborate closely with the Finance Director to shape and enact financial strategies that align with the organization’s objectives.
• Promote continuous improvement, operational excellence, and accountability within the Finance department.
• Guarantee that the Finance team functions within a secure operational framework emphasizing risk management and internal controls.
• Supervise the creation and timely delivery of financial reporting, including monthly management accounts, statutory and regulatory filings, board reports, annual budgets, and cash flow management and forecasting.
• Conduct financial forecasting and analyses to support informed decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with corporate tax, VAT, and other regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders as a trusted financial adviser.
• Lead or contribute to finance-related projects and broader organizational initiatives that drive growth.
• Develop, review, and maintain Finance policies and procedures, promoting consistency and compliance.
• Monitor and enhance financial controls, identifying opportunities to streamline and improve processes.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Possession of an internationally recognized accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or ACMA.
• A minimum of five years post-qualification experience, including at least eight years in senior finance management roles.
• Proven capability in leading finance teams, managing workflows, performance assessment, training, and development.
• Comprehensive knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Expertise in corporate taxation, VAT, and transfer pricing matters.
• Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
• Strategic mindset with excellent judgment and analytical abilities.
• Self-driven with the capacity to prioritize and work independently.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration across the company.

Preferred Experience

• Background in engineering, construction, project management, or professional services sectors.
• Experience in supporting organizational growth, managing change, or driving finance transformations.
• Previous work in international or multi-entity corporate environments.
