Role Overview
The position of Senior Executive - Talent Partner involves providing essential HR partnership for senior-level associates including Senior Managers and Associate Directors within designated business units. You will collaborate with Talent Partner Leads, business heads, employees, and multiple HR teams such as International HR, Immigration, and Payroll, delivering expert HR advice, executing talent and engagement strategies, and guiding leaders and employees through key HR processes with consistent and considerate support.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary HR partner to Senior Managers and Associate Directors in assigned business units.
- Establish and nurture strong professional relationships with leaders and employees, offering advice on HR and business matters.
- Enhance employee retention and engagement by facilitating regular interactions, town halls, feedback initiatives, and virtual engagement activities.
- Support frontline managers in capability building and career management by promoting manager programs, enabling career conversations, monitoring progress, and assisting with remediation if needed.
- Manage employee lifecycle processes including merit increases, incentive management, allowances, and grievance support during Year-End Reviews.
- Collaborate closely with other HR units like International HR, Immigration, and Payroll to ensure comprehensive HR support for your business units.
- Address employee concerns related to day-to-day operations, special initiatives, projects, and lifecycle events through effective and unbiased resolution.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in HR operations, business partnering, or related HR functions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Strong understanding of HR processes encompassing engagement, retention, and complete employee lifecycle management.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a proactive attitude and drive.
- Capacity to collaborate across multiple teams and handle various responsibilities efficiently.
- A strong ownership mindset, dedication to creating impactful outcomes, and enthusiasm for work that benefits customers, communities, or global challenges.

Desirable Skills
- Experience supporting manager development and employee engagement programs.
- Capability to identify training needs and contribute to development planning for business units.

Work Location and Conditions
This is an onsite role requiring presence five days a week at client or Cognizant offices across multiple Indian locations, including Bangalore, Gurgaon, Noida, Chennai, Coimbatore, Bhubaneswar, Indore, Kochi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Pune. While Cognizant supports flexible work-life balance initiatives, this position's onsite nature is based on business and project demands and may evolve accordingly with clear communication.
