Job Overview
As a Senior Executive in the Distribution Management Office at Income Insurance Limited in Singapore, you will play a crucial role supporting managerial functions related to fit and proper assessments within the Representative Notification Framework (RNF). Your responsibilities encompass reviewing assessment cases, ensuring compliance with service level agreements, and facilitating operational process enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager in evaluating complex fit and proper assessment cases that require Hiring Authority Approval clearance.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of structured processes aimed at consistently meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs), from identifying issues to implementing solutions.
- Participate in the review and implementation of the fit and proper framework to ensure seamless operational changes.
- Manage fit and proper assessments related to the appointment of representatives under the RNF within set timelines, including conducting assessments, recommending candidate suitability, identifying adverse findings, and escalating cases when necessary.
- Ensure all candidate documentation is complete and accurate.
- Coordinate with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders regarding recruitment requirements such as submission of due diligence documents and signing of Agency Agreements.
- Provide periodic statistics and reports on candidate appointments and representatives to Distribution Channels.
- Conduct ongoing declarations and checks including daily credit monitoring of representatives and annual self-declarations.
- Support audit requests associated with fit and proper assessments and regularly review and streamline related processes.
- Undertake additional projects or tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a Degree or Diploma in any field of study.
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience in Distribution Support, specifically with the MAS Representative Notification Framework.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- Self-motivated, independent, and focused on achieving results.
- Attention to detail with meticulous work habits.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to influence and engage stakeholders effectively.
