About the Role
AWWA Ltd, one of Singapore’s leading social service agencies providing over 27 diverse services, seeks a Senior Executive to join the Community Partnership team. This role combines a passion for impactful storytelling, stakeholder engagement, and project management to support AWWA’s mission of aiding early childhood education, children with developmental needs, families facing complex social challenges, the elderly, and persons with additional needs to stay integrated in their communities.
Given AWWA’s diverse team environment, proficiency in English and at least one other local vernacular language is mandatory. The incumbent will serve as a proactive relationship builder and spokesperson managing various service accounts, growing partnerships, and fostering community support through diligent donor and volunteer stewardship, engagement, and communication strategies. This is a full-time position based on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, monitor, and assess the strategy for Community Partnership encompassing a variety of programs, initiatives, activities, and campaigns.
- Contribute to creating a strategic fundraising plan aligned with the organization’s development goals to fulfill annual financial targets.
- Design and execute innovative fundraising efforts, including digital campaigns, hallmark events, and direct engagement initiatives to meet fundraising objectives.
- Identify, reach out to, and manage a pipeline of individual donors, corporate partners, and foundations to expand AWWA’s donor base.
- Keep donor databases up-to-date and foster donor loyalty through personalized communication and meaningful engagement activities like email updates and personalized greetings.
- Prepare detailed donor reports, appeals, and updates highlighting impact and achievements.
- Support grant writing and proposal development for new projects and programs.
- Expand and manage the volunteer pool by engaging individuals, community groups, and corporate partners.
- Implement volunteer management policies and processes, manage orientation, training, recognition, and engagement activities.
- Evaluate volunteer needs and effectiveness, ensuring volunteers are matched with opportunities aligned to their skills and interests to promote positive experiences.
- Maintain volunteer records and generate comprehensive reports on volunteer activities, budget, and statistics.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in stakeholder and people management.
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Strong project management and budget oversight abilities.
- Proven ability to design and implement stakeholder acquisition strategies and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Adeptness at engaging with diverse stakeholders across various levels and customizing communications accordingly.
- Experience in preparing detailed reports.
- Effective storytelling skills with the capability to advocate persuasively for causes.
- Some familiarity with social media platforms; fundraising experience is advantageous.
- Basic design skills to develop clear communication materials is a plus.
- Good judgment and critical thinking capabilities.
- Genuine passion for driving social impact and community outcomes.
