Senior Executive, Communications

Overview

The Communications Department at JurongHealth Campus (JHC), encompassing the Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Jurong Community Hospital, spearheads strategic communication efforts and projects. We seek a passionate and driven individual who thrives in collaborative environments to join as a Senior Executive in Communications.

In this role, you will engage in the complete creation process of both external and internal communication materials, manage online platforms, and organize events aimed at promoting JHC. Additionally, you will foster improved staff engagement through targeted communication initiatives. This position offers valuable exposure working closely with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop clear, compelling communication content targeted at patients and staff to enhance JHC's reputation, improve patient experience, and cultivate pride and a positive organizational culture via various communication platforms and initiatives.
• Plan and execute impactful events and programs engaging patients, staff, and the wider community, ensuring alignment with JHC and NUHS goals.
• Boost JHC’s visibility and public image through proactive and effective media relations.
• Collaborate on cross-divisional projects within JHC and NUHS by designing strategic communications plans that maximize the reach and effectiveness of shared initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree holder in mass communications, journalism, public relations, business, marketing, or related disciplines.
• Exceptional writing abilities alongside strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with solid analytical thinking and organizational capabilities.
• Capability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and effectively work within stringent deadlines.
• Positive and proactive approach toward continuous learning and embracing challenges.
• Energetic team collaborator with a self-motivated work ethic.
• Familiarity with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous but not mandatory.
