Senior Engineer, Commissioning - Technical Projects Division

Overview

This senior engineering position involves overseeing project commissioning and Project Support Services on-site within the Technical Projects Division. The role ensures all activities comply with company regulations and industry best standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate commissioning plans with both internal teams and external contractors/vendors to safely commission new projects and modifications.
• Implement and manage the Work Permit Procedure, ensuring all work permits comply with operational safety, including preparation of blanking and purging requirements, and auditing work sites before commissioning work commences.
• Perform various tasks supporting operations during commissioning, including technical analysis of plant issues, managing material orders, and tracking follow-up actions.
• Monitor commissioning timelines and activities, ensuring alignment with operational requirements.
• Collaborate with project engineers, commissioning and operations teams to schedule and execute commissioning and startup activities to enable seamless project handover.
• Coordinate and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) alongside project and inspection teams to ensure successful completion.
• Track project execution schedules and assess their impact on ongoing operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years experience in project engineering or commissioning roles.
