About the Role
Take charge as the global leader for marketing performance and effectiveness at the LEGO Group, applying extensive expertise in marketing and advanced analytics to influence strategic decision-making. This pivotal position empowers you to redefine how marketing performance capabilities and insights contribute to both brand growth and commercial success.
Our flexible hybrid working model combines three days a week onsite at either the London or Boston office with two days remote from home. Please note relocation support is not provided for this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and steer the ambition, direction, goals, and capabilities for marketing performance globally.
- Provide critical, actionable insights from marketing data and analytics to inform essential marketing strategies and decisions.
- Work closely with the global Marketing Planning team to ensure upstream marketing initiatives and campaigns leverage learnings from marketing performance.
- Drive commercial results by optimizing marketing efforts across Owned, Earned, Shared, and Paid platforms.
- Lead initiatives in advanced analytics, data science modeling, and capability enhancement, collaborating closely with the digital products team.
- Partner strategically with senior stakeholders to facilitate understanding and encourage data-driven decision making.
About the Team
The Global Marketing Planning & Performance team orchestrates cohesive marketing plans for the LEGO Group, based on consumer and shopping insights. They manage brand and commercial objectives by delivering performance data and insights that enable agile and closed-loop marketing practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive marketing experience with strong emphasis on marketing performance, data, and analytics, gained from global brands in internal or agency environments.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear, relevant, and timely insights and business recommendations.
- In-depth knowledge of current marketing technologies and platforms.
- Proven track record in driving innovation and large-scale transformation globally.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with Business Intelligence, Media Analytics, and Data Science is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management capabilities.
- Comfortable operating within complex matrix organizations.
- Committed to continuous improvement and broader organizational excellence.
