About the organization
The New York Islanders are one of professional sports’ most historic franchises, supported by a devoted fan base and a legacy that includes four straight Stanley Cup championships in the 1980s and 19 consecutive playoff series wins. The organization operates from UBS Arena in Floral Park, NY, a modern venue built for hockey and music and located within the broader Belmont Park redevelopment area.
UBS Arena offers premium suites, clubs, lounges, and hospitality experiences designed to enhance the guest journey. The surrounding Belmont Park district is being developed into a larger entertainment destination, with Belmont Park Village planned for 2024 and a new Belmont Park Racetrack planned for 2026.

- Work with Finance and Technology leaders on capital planning and investment priorities for analytics platforms, data infrastructure, and fan intelligence tools.
- Shape the BI team’s structure, including roles, hiring plans, and capability building, while coaching and developing team members.
- Collaborate across marketing, ticketing, partnerships, finance, and operations to identify analytics needs and drive business value.
- Translate complex findings into clear recommendations for senior leadership and establish a regular business review cadence around KPIs, ROI, risks, and opportunities.
- Own business intelligence strategy, budget, and planning.
- Partner with AI leadership to evaluate and pilot AI/ML opportunities for fan intelligence, pricing, and business analytics.
