About the Role

In this position, you will take responsibility for hospitality projects that may include new builds, adaptive reuse, refurbishments, and premium interior fit-outs. You will run smaller projects independently and oversee important packages on larger, more complex jobs, working closely with senior leaders and external consultants at every stage.

This is a practical leadership role that keeps you involved in design decisions, technical coordination, and client communication, while also allowing you to mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of the next generation of architects.

Duties

• Guide hospitality projects from the concept stage through to construction completion.
• Independently manage smaller assignments while keeping programme, quality, and client goals on track.
• Oversee key work packages on larger hospitality developments involving multiple disciplines.
• Coordinate with consultants, authorities, and contractors throughout delivery.
• Prepare and supervise detailed project documentation in Revit.
• Assess technical details and help resolve challenging design and construction matters.
• Support, coach, and mentor Graduate Architects and Architects during project work and daily tasks.
• Participate in client, consultant, and site meetings and strengthen professional relationships.
• Protect design quality while balancing schedule, budget, and buildability requirements.

Skills and Experience

• Registered Architect or highly experienced Senior Architect with proven project leadership ability.
• Background delivering hospitality projects such as new builds, refurbishments, renovations, and interior fit-outs.
• Solid understanding of architectural delivery across all project stages.
• Capability to lead projects, coordinate consultants, and manage client relationships.
• Comfortable mentoring and guiding junior colleagues.
• Advanced Revit skills, including the ability to produce and review documentation.
• Strong technical detailing capability and construction knowledge.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
