Role Overview

Yamama Cement is hiring a Senior Analytical Instruments Technician to support the upkeep, accuracy, and compliance of key laboratory analyzers used in cement operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day condition and functionality of PGNAA and XRF analyzers.
Carry out scheduled preventive upkeep, instrument calibration, and fault diagnosis for lab equipment.
Validate instrument performance and confirm the reliability of analytical outputs.
Work with third-party vendors and service teams for servicing and calibration tasks.
Keep complete records for calibration, maintenance, and quality activities.
Follow and maintain alignment with ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
Handle reference materials and standard samples used for laboratory testing.

Required Background

A diploma or bachelor’s qualification in Chemistry, Instrumentation & Control, or a closely related area.
For bachelor’s degree holders, 3 to 5 years of relevant experience is expected; diploma holders should have 5 to 7 years of experience.
Hands-on exposure to analytical laboratory instruments is needed.
Prior work with PGNAA and XRF systems is preferred.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements is necessary.
Background in cement plants or industrial laboratory settings is an added advantage.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is focused on maintaining analytical instrument reliability, supporting laboratory quality systems, and ensuring accurate testing performance in a cement manufacturing environment.
