Senior Accountant

Position Overview

Carbolink India Private Limited seeks an experienced Senior Accountant skilled in managing comprehensive accounting operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and generating financial reports. The role emphasizes proficiency with Tally software, GST regulations, Excel, and general accounting functions.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting and finance tasks systematically.
• Maintain the company's ledgers using Tally ERP or Tally Prime.
• Prepare and authenticate sales and purchase invoices.
• Administer accounts receivable and payable activities.
• Track outstanding customer payments and actively follow up to secure collections.
• Process vendor invoices and maintain detailed payable schedules.
• Compile and update GST-related documentation and perform reconciliations.
• Support preparation and filing of GST returns, manage TDS, and other statutory compliance obligations.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and oversee bank records management.
• Create payment and receipt vouchers, journal entries, and maintain supporting documentation.
• Manage customer and vendor ledger reconciliations on a regular basis.
• Generate monthly MIS reports detailing sales, collections, outstanding balances, expenses, and payables.
• Monitor company cash flow and provide financial data to assist management decisions.
• Collaborate with auditors, consultants, financial institutions, clients, and suppliers.
• Ensure diligent documentation and archival of all accounting records.
• Identify and promptly resolve discrepancies in financial accounts.
• Contribute support for month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain adherence to internal accounting policies and control measures.
