Overview
Join Walmart Canada as a Self-Checkout Attendant to enhance your retail and customer service skills. This role focuses on delivering outstanding customer experiences by assisting shoppers with self-service checkout processes.
Key Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the self-checkout area, ensuring removal of any unnecessary items, debris, or liquids.
- Guide customers on proper and efficient use of self-service checkout systems as needed.
- Promote Walmart's sponsored programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable initiatives where appropriate.
- Monitor customer activities to identify when support or intervention is required.
- Conduct quality checks and self-service interventions with polite explanations to reassure customers about standard procedures.
- Manage responses to electronic article surveillance alarms and accurately complete related documentation.
- Notify the Customer Service Manager in case of low cash supply or technical difficulties in the self-checkout area.
- Ensure Scan & Go scanners are returned to their designated places after use.
Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this position is $15.50.
Minimum Requirements
