Overview

This role requires on-site presence at a hospital, medical facility, or clinic within the Northern Health Region in The Pas, Manitoba. The employer covers relocation costs and encourages willing candidates to relocate.

Languages

English proficiency is required.

Education and Credentials

Possession of Other Trades certificate or diploma
Class 5/5F/G Licence for cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles
Private Investigator (PI) provincial/territorial Licence
Provincial/Territorial Security Officer Certificate
Security Guard License
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Experience

Previous experience is considered an asset but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Assist clients or guests with special needs
Manage and operate security control room equipment
Conduct patrols of designated areas

Technical Skills

Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word

Security, Safety and Work Conditions

Must pass criminal record check
Work includes a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Strong attention to detail required

Personal Attributes

Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
Good judgement and reliability
Ability to work well within a team
