Security Officer - Tesco Maldon

Position Overview

Kingdom Services Group Ltd is seeking a dependable and professional Security Officer to join their team at Tesco, Maldon (CM9 4LE). This part-time role involves ensuring the safety and security of customers, staff, and visitors by serving as a visible deterrent to theft and inappropriate behavior while delivering excellent customer service.

Working Hours and Location

The position covers 41 hours per week with shifts scheduled as follows:

• Monday: 15:15 to 00:15
• Thursday: 14:45 to 00:15
• Friday: 12:30 to 00:15
• Saturday: 13:30 to 00:15

Due to the store location and late shift finishes, owning a vehicle is preferred unless candidates reside nearby.

Key Duties

• Perform regular patrols throughout the store premises
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter theft and anti-social conduct
• Respond calmly and professionally to any incidents
• Accurately complete incident reports and records
• Collaborate with store management and staff
• Provide outstanding customer service at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard license
• Excellent communication and customer service capabilities
• Professional, confident, and dependable demeanor
• Sharp observational skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to stay composed under pressure
• Previous experience in retail security is advantageous but not mandatory
• Own transport preferred given location and late hours

Compensation and Benefits
