About the Employer and Location

This role is based at the Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara, part of Minor Hotels, a global hotel operator managing over 530 properties across more than 50 countries through brands like Anantara, Avani, Elewana, and others. Minor Hotels caters to diverse travelers worldwide, covering Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, Indian Ocean, Europe, and South America.

Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance and execution of all security operation procedures within the hotel premises.
  • Oversee and manage the security aspects concerning all contractors, suppliers, and vendors present on the property.
  • Deliver courteous and professional services to guests, staff, vendors, and suppliers alike.
  • Keep senior hotel and security management updated regularly on all security-related matters within the hotel.
  • Safeguard all guest and staff areas to prevent unauthorized access or intrusion.
  • Handle incidents and emergencies with sensitivity and professionalism, particularly situations involving theft allegations, ensuring all parties involved are treated fairly.
  • Carry out thorough inquiries and follow-ups on security incidents as directed by the Security Manager.
  • Conduct formal searches on employees, work areas, and locker rooms following hotel policies and with appropriate witnesses, while preserving the presumption of innocence.
  • Participate in all required security personnel training sessions.
  • Attend daily briefings and maintain vigilance in assigned areas, ensuring readiness through proper information and equipment.
