Security Officer at The Singapore EDITION

Position Overview

The Singapore EDITION is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to safeguard its property and provide assistance to guests. This full-time role involves monitoring surveillance systems, conducting patrols, responding to emergencies, and maintaining safety standards throughout the premises located at 38 Cuscaden Road, Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols around the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter and duress alarm systems, and fire life safety systems.
• Secure entrances and conduct daily physical inspections for hazards.
• Respond to accidents by contacting EMS or administering first aid/CPR as necessary.
• Provide assistance during emergency situations to guests and employees.
• Manage disruptions by defusing disturbances and escort unwelcome individuals without interrupting operations.
• Report vehicle accidents and thefts promptly and call for external assistance when required.
• Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports documenting all security and loss prevention matters.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all security-related information, releasing details only to authorized personnel.
• Carry out investigations and interviews to gather relevant evidence.
• Support company policies, safety training, and maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Engage with guests warmly, addressing their service needs and assisting persons with disabilities.
• Maintain positive working relationships and contribute to team goals.
• Perform physical activities including standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, and handling objects up to 75 pounds with assistance.
• Operate safely on various surfaces and in confined or elevated spaces as needed.
• Carry out additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Preferences

• Minimum education requirement: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No prior experience or supervisory background required.
• No licenses or certifications are mandated for this position.
