Work Schedule

The position requires working Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

As an SDS Author within the Scientific Insourcing Solutions division, you will play a crucial role in preparing documentation that ensures safe transportation of materials globally while developing your career in laboratory sciences.

Key Responsibilities

• Create Safety Data Sheets adhering to both domestic and international regulatory standards.
• Complete and manage various standard regulatory forms, documents, and databases related to chemical safety.
• Analyze and manage raw material data to ensure compliance.
• Review hazard communications and verify regulatory data accuracy.
• Utilize computer applications such as Excel, Teams, Lisam/ExESS efficiently to support workflow.
• Contribute to improving department processes and participate actively in team efforts.
• Foster a collaborative and respectful workplace environment aligned with company values.

Candidate Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree preferably in chemistry, biology, or a closely related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in chemical regulatory environments.
• At least 3 years' experience in authoring Safety Data Sheets.
• Strong knowledge of GHS standards and other chemical regulatory compliance requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong skills in database management with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in key software including Excel, Teams, and specialized systems like Lisam/ExESS.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a project team.

Compensation

The salary offered ranges between $25.00 and $27.00 per hour.
