Position Overview
A client based in Sydney is seeking a Scrum Master for a contract position lasting at least 6 months. This role is pivotal in overseeing the complete delivery process of mid to large scale projects and significant components within complex initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery of medium to large sized initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with business owners and stakeholders to achieve optimal customer outcomes.
- Coordinate efforts across various teams to maintain alignment throughout project delivery.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence decisions to facilitate project progress.
- Identify, monitor, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies within the project's delivery framework.
- Adhere to organizational management principles and delivery frameworks.
Requirements
- Proven familiarity with software development processes.
- Comprehensive understanding of Scrum methodologies and key artifacts such as the definition of done, user stories, automated testing, and backlog refinement.
- Good knowledge of additional Agile frameworks like Crystal and XP.
- Excellent communication abilities paired with servant leadership qualities.
- Strong skills in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Must possess full working rights in Australia.
