About the Role
Join Lumia Care's Health Operations Team based in South Australia, where we are devoted to providing exceptional community care services. We are expanding our Operations Team and seeking organized and motivated individuals to assist with rostering and scheduling, essential to our smooth service delivery.
As a Scheduling Consultant, you will be instrumental in managing workforce rosters, coordinating shift allocations, and efficiently responding to evolving client and staffing demands. This role involves collaborating closely with care teams in a dynamic environment to create accurate and timely schedules aligned with client needs, funding requirements, and service priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate staff rosters and schedules to fulfill service demands effectively.
- Handle calls, emails, and scheduling changes promptly and efficiently.
- Work cooperatively across multiple departments for seamless operational flow.
- Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in scheduling activities.
- Promote a positive, solution-oriented team environment.
- Provide coverage on an after-hours roster including shifts from 6 PM to 2 AM and 2 PM to 10 PM.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in healthcare rostering, specifically with Registered Nurses (RNs), Enrolled Nurses (ENs), and casual workforce coordination.
- Excellent communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships with team members and management.
- Proficiency with rostering and workforce management software applications.
- Highly organized and proactive, able to manage competing priorities and make timely decisions.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities to adapt to changing staffing requirements.
- Detail-oriented to ensure compliance and accuracy in rosters.
Mandatory Requirements
- Possession of a valid National Police Clearance.
- Documentation of at least two COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Annual influenza vaccination compliance.
