Job Overview
The SAP IBP Specialist will play a pivotal role in a significant supply chain transformation by spearheading the technical setup, integration, and migration activities necessary to upgrade a legacy SAP APO system to SAP IBP. This role will ensure flawless integration with SAP S/4HANA PP/DS modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure core SAP IBP modules including Response & Supply and Inventory Optimization, handling Order-Based Planning setups, rule prioritization, allocation, and heuristic tuning.
- Establish and manage seamless integration between SAP IBP mid-term planning and SAP S/4HANA PP/DS short-term detailed scheduling systems.
- Develop and maintain data integration pipelines using Real-Time Integration (RTI) and SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services (CPI-DS), ensuring synchronization of master and transactional data across platforms.
- Identify and resolve data synchronization issues, queue errors, and discrepancies between SAP systems.
- Create functional specifications, calculate graphs configurations, complex Excel formulas, and analytic dashboards; conduct comprehensive testing phases including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Provide robust support during cutover, go-live, and hypercare phases post-implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Over 10 years in SAP supply chain roles with at least 5 years hands-on experience configuring SAP IBP.
- Proven expertise in implementing complex IBP Response & Supply and Inventory Optimization projects.
- Thorough knowledge of supply chain processes and planning methodologies.
- Advanced skills with SAP RTI, CPI-DS, and Core Interface (CIF) mechanisms for ERP to planning system integrations.
- Strong communication abilities in English, both written and spoken, coupled with analytical prowess.
- Ability to analyze complex problems proactively and improve or adapt existing systems effectively.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA ePPDS and SAP APO.
