Role Overview

This role calls for an architect who can lead the design and delivery of SAP BTP solutions across integration, extension, analytics, and AI-enabled workflows. The position also involves acting as a strategic advisor to business and delivery leaders while shaping scalable cloud-native SAP architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and delivery of SAP BTP solutions end to end across integration, extension, analytics, and AI-assisted business workflows.
• Work closely with Portfolio Leads, R&D Leads, and delivery teams to convert business goals into scalable SAP cloud architectures.
• Promote and apply SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, and Joule capabilities to add automation, forecasting, and generative AI into SAP processes.
• Support presales activities, solution definition, and RFP/RFI responses as a technical subject matter expert.
• Create internal IP such as accelerators, reusable components, reference designs, and practice-enablement assets.
• Design architecture using SAP Integration Suite, Extension Suite, Data and Analytics Cloud, and the SAP Build portfolio.
• Plan and implement SAP AI Core pipelines, including model serving, ML Ops flows, and custom inference endpoints in production.
• Lead integration development with SAP Integration Suite (CPI), API Management, and Event Mesh for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Define subaccount strategy, environment setup, identity and access management, and platform security controls for SAP BTP.
• Establish governance for integration patterns such as synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven, point-to-point, and hub-and-spoke models.
• Enable AI use cases through SAP AI Launchpad, foundation models, and external LLM integrations via the BTP Generative AI Hub.
• Guide and mentor consultants and developers while running architecture workshops, capability-building sessions, and CoE activities.
• Assess SAP BTP services against custom cloud-native options to improve total cost of ownership and align with roadmap priorities.
• Keep up to date with SAP roadmap changes, RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, and broader cloud platform developments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP BTP architecture and service landscape
• Experience with SAP CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, and SAP Build tools
• Working knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud, Cloud Foundry, Kyma, and BTP Cockpit
• Capability in SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, generative AI hub, and ML Ops design
• Understanding of foundation models, LLM orchestration, RAG, and vector database integration
• Ability to design integration patterns and enterprise cloud solution landscapes
• Familiarity with SAP CAP, OData, ABAP/S/4HANA APIs, Python, and JavaScript
• Exposure to cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Experience in solutioning for SAP ECC migration, RISE with SAP, and GROW with SAP
• Client-facing communication, presales support, and technical leadership skills
• Team mentoring, workshop facilitation, and architecture governance capability

Eligibility

Candidates should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
