SAP BASIS HANA and BTP Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS HANA and Business Technology Platform (BTP) Consultant with 4 to 10 years of expertise. This role involves managing and supporting SAP landscapes including SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA databases across multiple locations, namely Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Mumbai. Candidates will be invited for a virtual interview scheduled on 7th August.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee administration, monitoring, and maintenance of SAP landscapes such as SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA databases.
• Execute SAP system installations, upgrades, patching, migrations, and refresh procedures.
• Manage SAP BTP subaccounts including entitlements, security, connectivity, and service configurations.
• Monitor overall system performance and identify and resolve technical issues within SAP environments.
• Coordinate SAP transport management and assist with software release deployments.
• Develop and implement solutions for backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery requirements.
• Work collaboratively with development, functional, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth SAP operations.
• Ensure system security and compliance with SAP best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in SAP BASIS Administration with in-depth knowledge of SAP HANA Database Administration.
• Proficiency in managing SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and related services.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA architecture and landscape management.
• Experience handling system upgrades, migrations, kernel updates, and performance tuning.
• Good understanding of transport management, user administration, and SAP security concepts.
• Experience or knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is advantageous.
• Strong analytical capabilities paired with effective troubleshooting and communication skills.
